What do you do with it?

I dump mine little by little at the local auto parts stores. I use them all for my cars (Advance, Autozone, O'reilley, Walmart) but my big jugs of truck oil are stacking up.

I need to do my rear diffs but that's going to be several 5 gallon buckets of oil.

Dad just dumped out behind the shop but I kind of hate doing that.

I was Googling around with this and it led me to shopping for waste oil heaters for the shop but that'll be a $10k project she won't approve of.

Anyone that sells motor oil must accept waste motor oil. I always took mine to Walmart, go around back to the quick lube. They will accept up to 5 gallons a day per person. Take a pail every time you go to town and it will all be gone soon.

They make you sign the log for dropping it off, but other than that as long as it is just oil and no antifreeze or other water contaminated fluid they take it.

Another option is to find a local mechanic that uses a waste oil heater and see if they want the oil. Some greenhouses also use waste oil heaters in winter time.

Your local dump will usually take used oil. Also you can look to see if there is a service that will pick it up from you for a small fee.

Your Walmarts will take 5 gal. a day? Mine won't, and jerks start interrogating you about where you bought it. I take my car oil there in gallon jugs because it's easy and I buy it there but no one I've ever tried will take 5 gallons jugs.

Before Speedco would accept used engine oil without limitation. I don't know they do it now or not.

Put it for free on Craigslist/facebook marketplace. Someone will take it for their oil shop heater

If you have old style engines why not mix it with fuel?
Or get an oil centrifuge than mix it with fuel.

You can buy small portable oil heaters. My uncle has one for his garage.

Any auto parts store will accept it. And quick lube shop will accept it.

As stated above. Call and see if anyone will pick it up. Start using 55 gallon drums.
Preferably someone that can suck it out unless they can bring you an empty to swap out for a full one.

Yes, never have had a problem with them here in PA. Must be a store by store discretionary thing.
