That appears to be at some sort of event, maybe they are using it for a stage? Could be like Walmart and also move their own store fixtures and such? I have seen Walmart with flatbeds and drop belly moving trailers before when new stores are opening.

at one time wally's world emporium was very hard to get into, now look what morons they got now..

give it some time, and Publix will join the foray of jerkwad drivers.

Oh, and to answer the OP question. It is the spec that makes them look that way, very short BBC to give them a better turn radius. Similar to the lightweight spec sleepers some OTR companies are ordering.

This gives them a short nose and makes them look front heavy.

Never gonna happen. It's a 100% employee owed company. I retired from them years ago, (retail side) still own stock and their policy has always been to promote from within. You start low and work your way up.

I think that was the deal breaker for my ex-gf, she didn't want to work on the dock. I got news for ya', if I got on the dock at Publix, I wouldn't drive no dang truck, that's for sure.
