Since when did ones pay become public knowledge for anyone? Some people list their pay some don't. If someone wants to keep their personal matters personal no one should be badgering them.

LOL no one asked for a print out of his W2, a general CPM and accessorial pay is all, He bragged about $12 ins. why not be a little more open about the pay scale. That will not tell anyone how much money he makes or give out personal financial information. I am just saying!

I read on another forum that they start about $250 a day and the average driver can usually make between $300 and $425 a day depending on mileage.

How much more private can you get with Cyber Anonymity ?
Pi$$ on them Cowboy hat wearing super dude truckers
I turned down their job offer back in 1994.I felt my freedoms and happiness were more important then
being a walmart line walker.
Jobs and pay scales are not whats important to many full blood truckers in the US.
I'll keep my self earned integrity over some spoon fed pride any day I have left to walk this earth.

This is an anonymous forum. I am happy where I work and have no plans to leave. I could not put up with what 99% of the OTR drivers go thru. However, there are those out there that would like to better their situation. Wal Mart might be just that.
I would think that answering the question of how many CPM's is simple. They would only be helping out others who are looking for a career not just a job. Like another stated, drivers are not looking for a W-2 printout. Mearly, they are looking for a good career.
By the way, if you are interested in how much I make, send me a private message. If you prefer that I post it for all to see, I will gladly do it.
This forum is intended to steer drivers clear of bad companies and help them find the good ones. Montanamel has the opportunity to help others. Let's see if he can.

Although I am not a real Walmart employee, I am kinda.... I drive for Covenant on Walmart dedicated division, It's the BEST division in the co. Since I started I felt SUCH A DIFFERENCE. The way I am treated (at Walmart dispatch office, by my Covenant dispatcher, the load planner, the shippers....) Walmart trailers are ALWAYS in good condition, they provide very good directions to shippers, their people are always nice and helpful. Was talking to a Walmart driver another day, he said was making about 50 cpm (can't remember how many miles a week...) Covenant pays me only 27.5 cpm (after a year in this co.) but it guarantees at least 2500 miles per week. The Walmart driver told me Walmart requires an impecable record (for at least 4 years).
