Ya, working in the Accounting and Auditing Fields... in a former life... I do understand that part... just something O/O deal with that is lowly Company Drivers need not concern ourselves with...
And yet, O/O is still rolling around in the back of my head.

Well, got a change. Instead of Omaha to Nazareth PA, now Omaha to Plymouth Meeting PA to a Dick's Sporting Goods. That delivers three hours earlier on Monday! To bed. Vampire Mode is required to finish this run. Then a load from Baltimore to Grandvold MN for Wed. I must be the Flying Nun, now. I will run outta my 70 for sure. But, no word from the mothership. I guess I can fantasize!

Left the house yesterday, took my load to the kc yard then got my preloaded trl in spring hill ks. Dropped that load at the dallas yard today then bobtailed to hawkins to get back on the water dedicated. Taking a load to durant for in the morning then back to hawkins for one to austin. I do like these light weight trls. Only diff is these have super singles with aluminum rims.

He says no way, not on the schedule. My blood pressure goes up, but somehow I kept my mouth shut (I normally don’t)
As he’s calling my company I’m about to start arguing when I see that I’m a day early. Whoops.
Boy I would have looked real stupid (well, stupider) had I picked a verbal fight with him lol.Crusader66, gntorres61, runningman0661 and 2 others Thank this. -
I managed to keep my Baltimore load as dispatch couldn't find anybody else to repower the load with so it will be a couple days late. Doing a 34 since it would come before a recap anyway. Been running my arse off. The uptick in miles is greatly appreciated, but the 34 (Petro in Perryman OH) is badly needed.

Got word from the mothership that company driver trucks are going back to 68. I have been pining (to my dispatchers) for this since I got here. After the spate of reported speeding tickets we have accrued, I am surprised they went ahead with this. But the brass cited fuel price stability as the main reason to do this. This should happen within the next 30 days with ANY SCHEDULED routine maintenance. Now, do I hear 70?? I feel like I just got my man card back!
