Although those steroids will make a guy look like he's not a drug user,,the changes in behavior(hostility) are as bad as someone on on meth or some other drug. Too bad society doesn't really look at steroid use as it really is,,a dangerous drug,,,but when a guy is all big and stocky(from using steroids),excelling in sports, people admire them,,,,but the truth is,,,the guy is using dope-just a different kind IMHO.

well, all i can say is that i am not going into law enforcement to make friends with people. i am doing it to serve the public. i have been a firefighter/paramedic for 9 years and have always wanted to be in law enforcement. people can say what they want about LEO'S, it is a thankless job for the most part, as a firemen you are looked up too in the community. as a police officer you are frowned upon until somebody NEEDS your help. then they want to know what you are going to do for them..... the trooper in this story obviously had some psych issues going on and should have sought help for them... i am not going to sit here and say that all LEO's are perfect human beings. but, i guess you could say that about every other profession in the land as well. any profession, is only as good as the character of the individual doing it. i have been a public servant for 9 years, i feel i am a man of good character and judgement. i was put on this earth to serve the public, and keep people safe from themselves and others...

Sounds pretty similar to what I'm going to be trying for later this year :biggrin_255:
80 page application form, background check, medical, fitness test, board interview, polygraph, psych test, interview with the shrink, and then the final yes or no.

But first, I've gotta do a few months of running to work off what trucking has done for me. haha.

I guess you should inform the Walmart employees just how much they hate working there.
Somehow, the word just isn't getting around.

Going to apply to the Lethbridge Police Service up here in Canada, and possibly the RCMP. I hear RCMP are hiring a lot of people to make up for shortages. The only reason holding me back from applying to be a mountie is that you don't have much of a choice in where you get to live after you are recruited.

that is the same thing with any state police dept. here in the states. once you go through the 21 week boot camp here in wisconsin. you can be assigned to any post in the state.... could end up moving north for all i know. good luck with your law enforcement career.......
