I've never gotten more than 150,000 miles out of any set of steers. Usually if I get 100,000 I consider that really good. And I've got stacks of receipts on rebuilt front ends and had proper alignment and all of that. I know a bunch of other guys none of them have ever gotten much more than that out of steers either. I read about 200,000+ mile steers on the internet all the time but I've never seen it. I will say it's usually only Michelins that I hear about doing it which for what they cost up front they ought to be that good.

I exceeded 215 K on my Micheline X- Line energy 22.5 steers. They were still at 5-6 / 32 nds and still in a good shape - very even wear and very true. They lasted 2.5 years and maybe another 10K was possible but I needed to replace a pair on the trailer, so that was a good moment. Before I switched to those, I was also content in getting over 100K miles and thought it was good enough. They don't have to be ugly;y expensive either; I paid for the pair about $1100 with installation at a local shop.
If you're balancing your tires, and have the front suspension/alignment taken care of, I don't see why they would not last as long for you too.

I am not particularly slow and have the 5th wheel in the middle so the weight on them is more often than not at 12K. If I were more caring about the speed and shifted the 5th wheel back a few notches then maybe 250K were possible too.
