Last trucks I remember from CF were the conventional FLC’s.

Different eras I guess. I was an avid truck watcher as soon as I could look out a window, early 60's. Still miss all the variety from that period.

Are you still pulling doubles and doing this route , I am getting my cdl first of the year and hoping to get a good job. 570 miles per day , sounds like a great job :)

The thing about LTL is that it’s extremely unlikely that you’ll walk into a run like that. You might start off on the extraboard and get lucky enough to be able to cover a nice run for a few nights here and there, but you will generally have to work your way up over the years from runs that no one wants because it involves not a lot of miles, dock work, or gets canceled frequently.

    misterG and dennisroc Thank this.

I was doing a lot of day road runs last year when I first started at FXF. Some new city drivers do extra road runs at my hub when they first start. Most of them were 550+ miles runs.
