Chad told me it would take a 1/4 inch difference to hurt the differential. Get different answers depending on the mood people are in.

 

I mentioned just the cost of the tire, not including installation and that was at the Speedco in OKC. Speedco has the price for them right on the tire rack.

 

Yeah tires were 458 then plus install. You would think they would give u a deal on free install but nope almost 400 install fees lol

 

Yes, install fees are horrible. Through my national account the tires go up $40 ea when installation gets added in. Makes the tires right at $400 ea at that point. That price seems high though. They have the tire prices listed on the tire rack broke down by how many purchased. I think they're $450 if only buying 1. Sounds like you didn't get the discount for buying more than 1 tire. I'd call other locations and/or loves and see what you're quoted. Don't mention the other quote.

Yeah ill be down near louisville today so im call around in IN to see if i can get away without paying taxes and get a better price.

 

Try the Boss shop behind the Pilot at X16 across the river from Mercer. I bought a set from them...

 

The axles are only locked together when you lock the power divider, tire size would only come into play when the power divider is locked.
