Hi guys. I have a 96 379 with a 318 inch wheelbase that started shaking once I go over 65 mph a couple months ago and it’s starting to get on my nerves. I’ve had it to some shops and have spent a lot of time and money on it and nothing helps nor can anyone find anything wrong with it. Need some help or advice please

Please describe the condition in words the best you can. The more detail the better. From there we may be able to point you in the right direction for things to inspect or check. Steering, front end, seat, floor, shifter? What have you done so far? Think back, was there a specific event or service work performed that caused this issue to start?.......or did it come in all on it's own, gradual or sudden?

Like others have said, a lot of different angles to this. I have even changed out a steer tire that was worn but still legal that solved a shake. Kinda like a puzzle, you like puzzles..right?

I have a 1991 that was like that from 58-65mph, my preferred cruising speed. My friend/ mechanic told me it could be old/dead shocks, tires out of balance, cheap tires themselves. I added tire balancers to both back axles and that took about 95% of the bounce out of truck. Shocks are next.
I read that the tire/rim can be balanced like on a car. Something to check into.
