So this month it’s just me out here, the s/o stayed home. I kept the cat but I’m clueless as to how I’m supposed to keep the truck a decent temp when I go into shower.
My company would fire me if someone seen me leave the truck running without me being in it. However it’s 98* outside and I am not gonna let my cat die.
A temporary thing I’ve done is plug in the old refrigerator and tie open the door with a cat bed inside. He likes it but I’m gonna need to actually get a new one and keep food in it.
Should I risk leaving the truck running?
Is there any tricks or products out there any of you use?

Fire you over idling your truck for less than hour that you're not in it because someone snitched on you? I think you're being over paranoid.

You wouldn't just park your own car somewhere and let it sit there idling while you go shopping or whatever...so why would you do it with someone else's vehicle.
A truck was stolen last year not more than 15 minutes away from my place. The idiot parked it, left it running, and went in for dinner at the restaurant. No insurance either because he left the keys in it.
Guy who stole it did a pretty good job driving it to because they found it 150 kms away not even scratched. He parked it with the keys still left in it, idling, and someone in the residential neighborhood called to complain about the truck idling in front of her house is how they found it lolTexas_hwy_287, D.Tibbitt, FlaSwampRat and 4 others Thank this. -
I really wish they would do away with this goofy ### revelco. They had air line locks in the white trucks and you could idle them and leave it locked and you couldn’t go anywhere. (Would lock both tractor brakes and trailer brakes)

Guess the cat has a new box. I’ll have to take out the shelves and make a flap door. Looks like I’ll stick to vacuum packed foods for the month.
