My boyfriend and i have been team driving a while and we are thinking about changing companies.
Here there hasnt been a lot of miles, pay is getting scarce, and we have a powerful need to eat and stay happy.
We have goals we want to accomplish and have given our current company 30 more days or so, to get their things straightened out or we are jumping ship.
Looking for mainly refrigerated (he has done flatbed and i have not so thats a possibility) possibly flatbed work that is Midwest to Northwest lanes or work.
We do not want to do a lot of North East, though we don't mind South East.
We both have good driving records, can pass drug tests and both of us are open to getting hazmat if applicable.
We both technically dont have a home base, but I would like to have home time once a month in Missouri to see my children.
Otherwise we dont mind relocating for the right job.
Does anyone have any suggestions or know companies that would take is?
We have been doing research but a lot of the companies we have looked at either do not take teams or they dont list that info on their website (and sometimes calling can be a pain running team when both of you need to be awake for such phone calls).
Thanks in advance and any info is appreciated.
PS- Lease purchase is an open book, but we both understand the good and bad about being an LP.
