Something does not smell right about this outfit. Their physical address is in St. Augustine Fl, and their mailing address is in Valparaiso IN. Called on a load they posted on DAT. Turns out it's just some laptop slammer working from a Starbucks or their jammies at home. Told me they had to call me call back because they had to call the broker that actually had the load LOL. I asked them point blank if it was their load or not! Got a run around explanation that made no sense at all. The phone number didn't even match up. I have no idea what is going on but something didn't smell right. These days anyone can get a DAT account and pretend to be a broker/agent if they pay someone to be a user. By the way, never got a call back. LOL.

 

Steer clear! I went broke trying to pay my truck lease and trailer lease at 75% of load with no fuel surcharge.
I dont think I've ever met a more crafty group of liars in all of my career. 450.00 per week trailer lease 750.00 per week truck lease. Fuel 1300.00 to 1500.00 per week. Pretty good fuel discounts though. Rediculous fees. The recruiter lied to me . " All of my guys are happy and make 7000.00 to the truck every week." Really? I asked for a copy of a trip sheet . No where near that. Took a week off to go ask the woman who loves me to marry me . Gave them a months notice and they soaked me . I spent a whole month catching up. 18 dollar check on a 5300.00 dollar week and a 450.00 dollar check on a 5900.00 dollar week. I was self dispatched and I did a great job. Fees and fines and dog breath attitudes. Honestly steer clear. I'm way above these people. I believe they are cons and criminals with no concern for your well being at all.

She stopped responding because she knew that I had learned too much and would not be falling for this scam, eh
Found them on CRAIGSLIST!

 

The fact that you found them on Craigslist is an automatic red flag in itself. Most of the more reputable companies have their own websites and don’t advertise on Craigslist.

 

Not always true. I’ve found probably 2/3 of my jobs on Craigslist and they were all decent. Worst job I had was from the company website.
