EDIT: Ok I'm going to leave the original post at the bottom so you can see what everyone is replying too.. but THE SITUATION IS NOT AS DIRE AS I PREVIOUSLY THOUGHT!!! I only have ONE traffic violation for Speeding 10-19MPH. So, I can still get hired by many companies. It's really luck for me, because I know I got more than one ticket. I got three, and I was going pretty fast.

Original Post: I have signed up and paid for CDL class, which is $2500. I failed a course I was taking at college, which I probably would have passed had I thought I wasn't going to CDL course. And I just realize, just remembered that I have THREE tickets on my MVR. I can't remember if they're reckless driving or not, but they probably are. I think it was 60 in a 35 on one. And like 95 in a 75 on the other. And another seatbelt ticket.

How ####ed am I? And how stupid am I? Am I going to be able to get even a SINGLE job?

Pretty sure you will be working at Mickey Dees for a while. Good news is with the new minuim wage of 15 bucks you will be making more money than if you were driving a truck.

Get your CDL now and in 3 years, when your points fall off, you can get hired with a company, which does not do employment verification. In the insurance eyes you can pass as someone who already has experience

I can certainly see where 3 little minor infractions like that recently may have slipped your mind.

Maybe Carolina Cargo or Western Express will give you another chance... Don't give up now. Just keep trying/looking.

Attitude means alot when you are in an interview.

Have you ever driven down the highway with your phone in one hand, and a giant spliff in the other?

    Asking for a friend.

Not many cell phones in the 90's so there is that.
