Blind loads go on all the time. In the produce business it is normal.
Back in my chicken hauling daze, it was nothing to pick up a load of produce in California, the BOL said XYZ grocery somewhere Florida. I would call the broker twice a day letting him know where I was, about Louisiana he would fax me a BOL going to the place it needed to go.
And have done the same in the tanker business.Rideandrepair Thanks this. -

I pull load on occasion that I guess would be blind, out of the #####, NV area, The BOL says "surplus product" if load is in question please call 1 800 not talking. Trailers are sealed and not marked, generally the tractors are not marked either except a DOT number on the bottom of the door, I hook up and take them non-stop to where it is indicated. Never know whats inside or the actual true weight.
Shipped by I dont know, picked up from I cant say, taken to I forget.
Any loads for normal commerce I will not haul without a real BOL, if its a van I require to inspect the loading and securing, and if in doubt weigh it out. -

That broker was accepting bids on that load from the time I left the dock. No mater what, that load was going to a buyer somewhere on the east coast. -
You guys need to watch the movie " Transporter ".
Best thing that you can do for yourself is not ask questions. Take the money and run.
