Looks like a side rail trailer too. Never meant for that kind of load.

It helps with positioning chains on certain machinery or whatever your hauling... If you need to line a chain up at a certain angle that's not practical with running the chain down the rub rail around the spools...

I have them but rarely use them. They have come in handy a handful of times.

I know some guys use them religiously... Think it's kind of personal preference.

They slot into rails in the floor to allow for closer securement. I use them a lot to better secure partial rows of product between customers.

A bonified trucking genius. hopefully he didn't get off the property like that, or at least through the very first set of scales.
As far as hauling the concrete barriers, I always used straps, if going a long way I might put a couple of nailers down on the ends to stop any walking if needed. I have hauled a lot of them using the friction straps, but only moving around on jobsites.

    Container locks.

Looks like it may be a homeade setup for long loads. I have used them before, front part of load sets on the front and a trailer or dolly is under the rear, but you are suppose to tie the long load to the front well enough it doesn't slide off. lol

People do it all the time with construction equipment (I'm just going a few miles!) so why not?

On a skateboard? And that isn't a container. It's the box from a straight truck.

    jamespmack Thanks this.
