Slavic countries don't end in -stan.... they end in -a/-ia (not just the obvious Russia Serbia Bulgaria and so on, but even the ones you don't usually see spelled that way in English - Ukraina, Polska, Czechia, etc.)

Stan is Turkic/Middle Eastern for CAMP, plain and simple.

Ask the Stan people for further cultural sensitivity guidance.

But why tarp pvc? That stuff is stored outside...

 

the main reason is to keep diesel smoke and road contaminants out of the inside and giving the water that flows through it the same oily/ foul taste. most manufactures do not distinguish between water main pipe and any others because any and all can and will be misused as potable water transport and therefore insist all loads to be tarped.

 

Sometimes ours comes with a smoke tarp, but never a full job. Pvc dwv

Its not going to have potable water in it, not at those diameters anyway. Cpvc sure, sch 80 water main stuff, but not pvc...

 

We have one receiver in Michigan that only takes it tarped.

 

Heheh like i figured. Not your fault or problem i know, just silly. Abs sure, pex, cpvc, sure, even a smoke tarp but full wrap pvc solid or cell core is just wasted time.

Hopefully they pay a tarp charge...

 

This pipe is used for wells, so the water is potable
