Sounds like a lot of money until you weave around multiple picks & drops most likely in places that are not truck friendly. Not to mention what ever delays each of those bring.

If you dont like where the car is you tell them to meet you somewhere convenient to both parties. Sometimes you get to meet the AAA guy.

More often than not you don’t have that option.
You just can’t tell a dealer to come get 8 or 10 cars someplace that is more truck friendly for you.
Many times in Florida and other states for that matter I am left to unload in the center between two lanes in front of a dealership with traffic whizzing by me on both sides without any other options.
It certainly can be a harrowing experience sometimes for sure.
Case in point, a couple of years ago a car hauler in Miami was standing on his bottom deck with his back to traffic unchaining a car on the top deck when a car with a distracted driver drifted over and drove up his deck and killed him.

Take that 400 dollars call a rollback truck at auction and drive it from rollback into back of trailer. Its like 200 dollar for a rollback call usually and go buy a nice steak dinner for u and the wife

I was referring to single car pickups, private party, not dealerships, I know with dealers your going to try and get to as good of spot as you can, sometimes middle of the street. Its almost a luxury to get a place on the lot to unload.

Wow in the center between two lanes?! No cop harassment for that?

    Yup
In the center between two lanes where there are the stripes going on an angle between them.
No cop harassment at all because in Florida it is more or less the expected norm as many dealerships are so huge that space is at an absolute premium leaving no room for transporters to unload on their property.
Cops just wiz on by like the rest of the 4 wheelers.
Also in south Florida a right hand turn lane can be a car haulers best friend if your lucky enough to deliver to a dealership that has one.

I see the unloading in the middle turn lane up here all the time at new car dealerships its to bad they don't have a spot for you out of harms way , not right most of these autogroups owners are worth billions.
Who's to blame in a accident , you are illegally parked in the middle of a busy street to boot.

So how much did you pay for the car? ~2500 at auction? 3500 for low miles?
