    Hello everyone,

    Wondering if anybody has a list of states that do recognize 8 tires per axle 10' wide. Or knows where to find this info. This is the states that I know:
    CA
    NV
    AZ
    UT
    NM
    TX
    LA

    TN may. It’s not in the official rules, but is dealt with at the permit office on a case by case basis. They have approved 40k on a 8 tire axle.

    Man, if Alaska did, I could have bought a nice cozad cheap at an auction a couple of years back. In hindsight, I should have bought it and pulled it or shipped it out.

    . They are actually 8 tires per row but really are 4 per axle the axles are short. Think of a 16 tire trailer as 4 axles with 2 rows of 2 axles side by side
