Flipping burgers pays better than the average truck drivers pay. Perhaps shallow minded just lack critical thinking skills..

Flip burgers, learn the business and become a manager.

    Work at McDonalds..

The typical McDonald's Store Manager salary is $46,354. Some are actually making $80,000+

I hate it when that happens, but we have all been there, at least most OOs have or will eventually.

A young lady I knew when she was growing up worked at one all through high school, transferred to one at Austin and worked till she graduated with a good degree. McDonalds made her an offer good enough, she went with them instead of the profession she had a degree in.

I wouldn't get the #### out of bed for 46k. 80 is doable but how long to get to that point and having worked for a large corporation my whole life I can guarantee you need a degree of some sort. Not everyone has to live in a crate truck for $200 a week. Nobody does actually.

    Agreed.
Too many people are willing to work for piss all wages. Why I will never understand, but they choose to do it. It makes sense when you are only 13 and getting your first job, but older than say 25, is when I really wonder what makes them still work for such low wages.
