I know you are right. In fact this is the first job I've had since the oil fields I didn't have to freak out over a tiny little delay. I got paid for a 4 day week this time because of home time and still got $880 take home.

I have to ask, what is it she said that gave you the impression that she is not cut out to be a trucker. If you have followed the thread, you will see that she even ran truck in the oilfield and liked it, at least tried her hand at being an oo, I would say she is a cut above 75% of drivers, as far as being cut out for it

Yes I have read all thepost, and no putting up with that JB deal is not trucking the same as we all do. I at anytime in my life would never have even considered it, as far as the one load she didn't like with Bolt, she explained that she it was in reality not bad, she just had the new job jitters.
You have not offended me at all, I just had a whole different take on it, and wondered how you came up with a whole different conclusion.
I hope her and you the best, do not quit posting on my account.Truckermania Thanks this. -
New Company driver gets to turn down a crap load ...... someone who’s been there for ever probably did the load.
P.S. Business as usual.... guess who’s getting the next cream puff load.... -
motocross25 and Aamcotrans Thank this.

I am a pretty independant sob whn it comes down to what I do or not do for a living. My take on itis if a new driver turns it down WHY would a drivr that has been there have to take it, couldn't he or she turn it down too??
Life is too short to have to mess with stuff that isn't worth it, some shippers do not consider my time is worth anthing, and that is fine because they never see me again, unless there is some big enough bucks in it to get their attention.
If enough drivers turned down the crap loads, carriers would quit taking them, in turn the shippers would operate differently.windsmith, UturnGirl and kemosabi49 Thank this.
