    Anybody here work for them?

    When I drive by their main yard I see DOZENS of trucks parked, yet I just saw a job ad from them where they are looking to hire approximately 10 more drivers.

    What's the deal with them? The first scenario I thought of was that things are slowing down with them (because of all the trucks parked). Maybe their drivers aren't getting enough miles so they are quitting, and thats why the company is looking to hire a bunch more drivers?

    Can anybody confirm this? I see Hit n' Run trucks everywhere in the states. How are you guys doing for miles, and steady work? At one point I was thinking of applying to them but I really like my flatbeds and I'm getting all the miles I can get my hands on with where I'm at right now.

    Talked to a driver who is very upset that the truck is not getting fixed and the miles suck, something about 1200.00 take home for the month too. Plus they cut out the miles across cities so you end up losing hundreds of miles on a long run. like any out fit ask a lot of questions before jumping ship.

    Are you leased to or have you heard anything good or bad about leasing on with this company ??...im thinking of making the jump, would love any info before hand from anyone familier with them.

    I was wondering about working for H &R as a company driver. If you drive past their yard in lethbridge, they sure have a heck of a lot of parked trucks. I don't know if those are just drivers on their minimum days off to reset, or if they tend to sit a lot more than that.

    have you heard how many miles their drivers are averaging per month?

    I talked to a driver while fueling one day that was saying he made 1200.00cdn take home for the month. Lots of issues getting trucks worked on and such, even though they are leased units from Penske.

    Well i leased on and am busy so far..the reason you see all those trucks at the yard is mostly the turn over of old columbias for the new prostars that the fleet will be made up of now..hope that helps answer that one.

    Almost ALL companies don't pay for crossing towns and cities...pc miler does not count those miles and companies don't bill for them.Shippers are aware of this and wont like you if you bill for crossing say calgary or torona.

    Ok i jumped to H&R..been here for 3 weeks looks ok so far..not my favorite routes most of the time,and miles are a bit on the soft side..but 80% of what i was hoping for...all in all good sofar.
