Hey just wondering how people that are always in new areas find the mom and pop truck stops I know where the ones are near me but not when traveling to a new area

This book... You can get it at most any truck stop. I think they have a newer addition than mine out now.

Out west all of the Mom and Pops are being bought out by the Indians (as in east Indians). They've been on a buying spree on the west coast for the last couple years. Nothing against them, but I've noticed that the places they take over go down hill pretty quickly as far as quality of service is concerned.

try an app called "Find Truck Services"...it shows where truck stops are ...only problem is there is very little info on the app in regards to food...so then I just google search the place then....Also, there is a paper covered book..it's a regular sized 8.5x11...I've only seen it at two truck stops, both TA's, and that book has a ton of info in it..Next time I see one of those I am picking it up...also, they only up date it every few years or so...I think the newest might be 2017 edition
