It's a steep learning curve. Did you talk to the top guys? Ask what they're doing? Water isn't tracked like oil. How many barrels are you loading? Have you talked to your pusher? They might be able to give some tips and hints.

It's working out much better this week. I'm getting faster. Not a bunch of problems every night.
Did 3 loads very easily last night. Fast enough. I think I can see the light at the end of the tunnel of doing 4.

Which leaves a decision to make. Those other jobs are pretty good. And they are out of my home town.
Yet... this one? I keep getting faster. It might just be the job that almost wasn't.

I do also have to admit. This job is much healthier for me. I only go about an hour sitting. Then do something.
The other driver on my slip seat. He's pretty good. Very helpful. Get tips from him.

    Got a 210 barrel tank. I load 200 barrels.

Paid by the barrel? Suddenly every load is around 200. Oh sure that pumper might have thought there was only 150 in there but you counted 190. Unless you're being watched, I wouldn't even climb the tank battery. Too much can go wrong up there. I mask up to pull oil at times but I will not open a water tank. That's where everything goes that's not oil. Use that automation

I knew a guy that for years would tell you how much production water weighed by taste. He was always right on the money.

He died of cancer a few years ago.
