i was minding my own business driving on east road in the town of wyoming. i saw a car out the corner of my eye and within a split second he hits the side of my truck. it was raining and the roads were wet. it put my truck into a skid.... i kept the rig straight and ended up in a cornfield. it took out my steer tire, my steps, the DPF system, DEF tank, and fuel fuel tank.... there is nothing i could have done to avoid it. i had the best possible outcome. i did not roll the truck and trailer, the truck is a little banged up but completely repairable. i know how dangerous loosing a steer tire is now. i wonder if the car hit my steer, if it was taken out by the force of the accident, or if it was taken out in the field.

One injured after car misses stop sign, hits tractor-trailer in Middlebury

Yup very littlle cab damage. Looks like a fuel tank and some tin. As long as the tank didnt rupture you should still be able to count your blessings

Bruised egos are the best. We all get a little gunshy after any accident. Just keep on and your confidence will resume in time.

    Glad you’re ok.

That car sure made you get out of his way though. He hit you in one county, and you ended up in another

Almost had an accident yesterday. Girl would have merged right into my tractor from 2 lanes over. She never even looked until I grabbed the horn and she saw me taking out a temporary construction sign on the shoulder. Unfortunately a lot of people on the road cannot drive. What happened to you sucks and I’m glad your ok. Just remember it’s your life before theirs when someone does something stupid and you’ll always go home to see your family.

In all of this you haven't mentioned even once how the occupants of the car made out.
