@wallance drain a few maybe 4-6qts (if you can) and add 1 gallon of Lucas Oil to thicken it, and keep speed at 60mph if you can.

Mine truck is pee-pee'ing a little more now, so I decided to give her a rest while I look for a replacement head.

Yesterday, my oil catch had 2qts after 40 miles run <------ NOT GOOD

I have changed oil agian after 2000 miles, because it shut down in AZ. Now I am back in CA and the truck is in volvo dealer. They take half day to check and then said the problem is only because all injectors are leaking thru mounting O rings. And will charge me $3000.
I think that is not the really problem! If so,why my coolant keep decreasing and engine oil become more?

what is your mean of cracked head?where is the crack?
The dealer changed all the injector O ring and cups .Also changed new oil .I pick up my truck yesterday and now on the way to GA.The oil pressure goes down to 32 again just run 600miles.
OMG,what should we do?Even the dealer can not find the problem and just change this one or that one and charge me a lot of money!
    Anyone has advice?Appreciate!

my head is cracked between injector & valve. You need to air pressurize the system to locate the bubbles coming out.

I initially thought it was the rings & cups, only to find out it was a cracked head along a fuel channel (fuel is supplied/returned thru the head)

    Thanks sir!
Thank for your reply.where are you repair your truck?I am in LA,CA.My dealer can not find the really problem .I am getting mad!

The dealer did the dye test ,but found dye was all over the oil can not pinpoint leak. Then they did pressure test ,found all injectors are leaking thru mounting O rings.Actually,I just replaced all the new injectors three weeks ago in a shop.
But now dealer said they did not install properly. so they reinstall injectors with new injector cups and mounting P/A parts. They charged me $3000.
But now oil pressure go down to 32 after 600 miles.

I have low oil pressure in 2014 D13 with 792k miles. It’s around 15 on idle on a warm engine. 35-60 when driving, but it never goes over 60. It used to be higher. I noticed the decline like 2 month ago. It get’s a little bit better for 1-2k miles after oil change, but than low again. I can’t be changing oil every 2k miles.
Replaced the oil pressure sensor with no change. My mechanic says it’s not rod bearings / main bearings, bc in this engine oil pressure doesn’t drop with them worn out.
Before it never went below 30, even on idle, now it sits on 15, looks like it’s gonna go lower some time soon.
    Any ideas?

well maintained, no leaks, no abnormal temps, good oil pressure, coolant good level, generally working good...
but then today I get an engine stop ALERT. Pulled over and shut it down. Checked everything I could think of oil, water, electrical etc...found nothing obvious. Called TA road squad. Computer showed low oil pressure and cylinder cooler faults. Started the truck and oil steady at 30psi. Let it run at 1000 rpm for 5 minutes...everything looks good. Got back on road with road squad following me.
Watching gauges as I slowly gain speed. Oil pressure increasing with engine rpm as expected. I hit 45 mph and engine shutdown alert again. I slipped it into neutral and let engine continue to run as I pilled to shoulder. I now observe oil pressure gauge indicating approx 15 psi ..then it goes back up to 30 psi.
Computer shows reading around 18psi. Now engine making a new sound....not a knocking but a slight squeak.
We decide it should be towed so I had it towed to Volvo service center in Somerset KY.
At Volvo the service manager comes out to my truck and starts it up. Oil pressure now steady 30 psi at 600 rpm. He puts it in gear and begins to idle toward open service bay...he's in driver seat and I'm in passenger seat...we are both watching gauges..so far so good. Then 30 ft later at an idle pace the engine just stops and we come to an immediate halt...we both looked at each other and said that was very unusual.
Tried to restart but engine will not crank. Used fork truck to get it into the bay.
    Engine starter will not crank
Cant move crank shaft by hand
Dip stick looks good, coolant looks good, no leaks and visible signs of trouble.
Pulled three oil filters and found some metal in first two, third filter was clean.
I'm meeting with service mgr tomorrow am to see where we go from here. I've seen some postings online show up to $35,000 to overhaul...I might be parking truck and looking to work for someone else. I like to baby my equipment thinking it will make it last longer and this came as a shock to me today.
