I delivered in Plano TX this morning. Sitting in the Rockwall TA waiting for a load. I have 12 hours left on my 70. Chances of me doing a 34 here are going up as i type...

Wasn't even noon on Friday and I got some good news. I won't have to sit the rest of the weekend in Church Hill. They put me on a load that'll be ready before I get there tomorrow and it delivers Tuesday in Houston. Gonna end up being a decent mile week plus the Canada pay. Guess I won't have to quit this week...:D

I run that way every week. I-35 to Wichita and up I-135 to I-80 is the way I go. Going up to Topeka and taking US75 to Ne2 and up I-29 is 25 minutes shorter but that route has about 80 miles of two lane.

Where did you deliver in Plano? That’s where I live.

Southern Star Foods. Asian owned food warehouse. A lot of trucks parked on the small yard but it wasn’t too hard. Worst part is the very big townhouse complex next door. Car traffic is a bit of aa problem.

Had a positive experience with a CR England driver the other day. I had stopped for the night on my way to Canada. As I walked towards the Love's building to take my final bathroom break before getting my beauty sleep, I was flagged down by a new driver for CRE. Turns out he had to slide his 5th wheel because he was over not only on his drives but on his trailer as well, but had weight to spare of his steers. They had never taught him how to slide it (or never had the opportunity during his training). So, I stepped up and walked him thru it. I consider this a positive experience because there are tons of new drivers out here that simply don't give a crap, but this guy did, and had the good sense to ask for advice and assistance. I have more respect for a new guy like that who wants to learn to do it right than someone who doesn't ask and never learns.

The other problem is..trainers who don't really give a crap a out teaching but just using the students as revenue source for extra money...that bs needs to cease..
