Oh...if i was 80k starting up a hill from a stop? Maybe granny low.Typically 2nd gear or even 4th on flat ground light load...a good rev ...and slip the clutch.Company trucks anyway.

I had a boss once that would run double with me from time to time when his truck was in the shop.
Caught him starting in 3rd gear one time with a full load, reached out of the bunk and slapped him in the head.
