Sometimes, but not every time, Schneider will want you to pull dry vans for 6 mos. before sending you to tanker school in Houston. Not a bad tradeoff either.

Stevens Transport and FFE both have tanker divisions, but not sure if they place their students there right out of their cdl school. Call and ask. Both companies have their own cdl school in Dallas area.

@General Lee WDT has schools in the Dallas area, only trains on tankers, and pays you while you attend their classes.

 

I feel like they are definitely worth anyone looking into. I would have gone with them, if they allowed pets in their trucks. My small dog survived a bad tornado in 2015 and has terrible separation anxiety from what he went through. He stayed with my sons while I trained at Wilson and Crowder. WDT pays $10 an hour while you are in class
