Best way is not to have too much in it if you're gonna park for a few days.

there's actually an easier way to do it directly right next to your fuel filler cap you see for little cap with four little hex screws that canbe taken out with a simple metric socket set...
I had feel stolen last year and realize that's how they did it the cap was intact but for some reason that little tiny thing that sits on top of it looks more like a relief valve or something all four screws were loose -

Thanks for all replies, this happened in west Houston the armpit of Texas. I had noticed a couple weeks back my curb side fuel cap was disturbed because I always put the cap in the same position after fueling, so I got 2 locking caps at $70 a piece then this happened. There were anti-siphon restrictors inside my filler necks, the thieves knocked them inside the tanks now they are still at the bottom.
This was professional they must have had a pump and a big tank because I was full over 200 gallons and no spills on the ground. It's a sad time we live in when hard working people have to run from thieves, it would be so easy to catch these thieves if it were legal to hang them from the nearest traffic light pole.singlescrewshaker Thanks this. -
Scum bag sea can haulers running out of Savannah will get you too. Had one steal 70 gallons from me in a rest area in South Carolina one night while I was sleeping in the truck. Yes they use pumps.
