I usually run out to 287 and then down. Any better ways to save time? Have 53’ trailer.

Does that save some time? 287 always seems so far out of the way. Also, thanks for the reply.

Not really. And the scalehouses on 78 are a little stricter than the one on 80 it seems like. You can also run 80->287->24->78->95. If you are going to one of those places off Mill Rd. or Riverside Dr. or Raritan Center Pkwy. I would do that and run the turnpike to exit 10

287 is longer from start to finish. From Raritan Center up the turnpike and Rt 17 is 40 miles shorter but the ride is nicer...tpk to 78, 24 to 278 about 20 miles shorter. based on a guy I sent to
Rensselaer 2x a week...the canadian guys I used to work with, after years of putting up with
Rt. 17 always prefered to follow 287 once it opened...they got paid 405 miles keasbey to Ville D'Anjou either way.
