    Smart man. Just to help New Driver's. That's all Bubby. Dang on, can't count how many Times I done seen someone Smoke the Brakes off. 8TH and over, trying to come to a dead stop.

    We did that back in high school.

    We would walk up the hill with a wagon full of flowers, selling them door to door.
    When we got to the top we would hop in the empty wagon and ride it back down the hill.

    BRAKES!!! BRAKES!!!
    Both feet to the pavement to slow us for the next turn - or to avoid an oncoming car.

    Our parents were always perplexed at how fast the soles of our shoes wore down so quickly.

    I guess the simpler way is to be in the proper gear at the top to set up your decent so you don't have to use service brakes on the way down.

    I forgot about that paper mill in Luke MD. thought I was lost as all-get-out ,going in there the first time at night!!

    that was over 20 yrs ago. roads look better now.
