Oh good. The black smoke matters inbred tards got their wish. A 17-hour day, and all kinds of sleeper berth split rules that make it possible to live in their trucks.

You're sitting on the dock? Oh, just use your 3-hour break. That way we don't have to pay you.
This is hilariously bad, and you're happy about it.peterd, speedyk, Gearjammin' Penguin and 10 others Thank this. -
Wait, wasn't everyone complaining about lack of flexability? Isnt this step in the right durection better than nothing?
The way I see it:
- Use it your advantage to hide some on duty time, or
- Use it to your advantage to wait something out and have a snooze, or
- Dont use it at all
If this change causes anyone to sit on a dock for 3 hours for free, you're doing it wrong
But what do I know? I'm just a dumb Canadian go getter that uses our 16 hour rule to suit MY needs, whatever they might be on any given day. -
peterd Thanks this.

And for the record? To hell with flexibility. Pay me for the time I work. You get 14 hours, you get 14 hours. And I am PAID for 14 hours.
