Weird, every time I have been around anything like that it burns the wire into right now.
We hit a 178 thousand volt line with a motor crane, it turned the tires to ashes but they never flamed up. They were more like charcoal and didn't even go flat, till I kicked one.
Lightening hit one of our pickups once, and blew the tires off the rims, even the spare, it came out of one tire or wheel and blew 12 feet of concrete curb off the street, but didn't flame up either.

I parked a pickup under some big hiline wires and could not touch it to get back in it, I finally got in the back of another pickup and jumped over into mine and climbed in.
