Which broker are you with?

 

Honest? Yeah right. There is no such thing as an honest broker.

 

What was your most stressful situation and how did you deal with it?

 

have you ever done business with a customer that assumed You had your own truck?

 

Not trying to sound like a jerk. If you've been doing this 12 years you're on the phone with us all day every day. Why on earth would you need/want MORE input?

 

My goodness people. An experienced broker says ask me anything and you guys can’t do anything but talk crap.

Question for OP... do you own the brokerage or work at the brokerage?

 

It's a generally tough crowd for us broker types as it is. Gotta have a little in the way of thick skin.

 

Wait a sec, I said I wasn't trying to sound like a jerk and I'm not, Can't speak for others above.
I have lots of great relationships with brokers but more often than not they are kind of on the 'other side' with most truckers. By that I mean most just see them as taking their money and not doing much good otherwise. I personally do not feel this way but I have at times with certain brokers. TQL and a couple other gigantic 3pl's come to mind.

I just find it a little fishy when one shows up and wants to talk shop. Folks like PPDCT and a couple others (I haven't been here that long) are very helpful but still it just sounds strange to me the way the OP asked.

If you're that honest and have never had a bad review, give us the name of your brokerage so we can confirm that review claim on DAT. I've never seen a broker without a bad review. Not that you're a bad broker, it's just impossible to please everybody.
