Just depends on what you want.
Mostly 1-10 to SoCal, then 5 north.
If you want to come in the back side, need to get over to Barstow and the 58. Could use 95 or 93 up to 40 to make that happen.

I was thinking the back route as you said by like Barstow to avoid all the traffic in La I just don't know how treacherous that route is coming through the mountains or other problems are headaches with it plus trying to find a truck stop somewhere along the way

I'm pulling in open bore tank so I'm thinking more so like for example there's more truck stops in this particular area or this area is really dangerous or go this way it's easier Drive stuff like that as far as my legality or condition of truck all that stuff is good

    Diesel Dave Thanks this.

Head up to 40 either way you want to and head west. I would never go on 10. check the miles, I bet 10 would run you at least a couple of hundred out of route, even if it was a decent way to go.

You should have no problems. Run it all the time.
Plenty of places to stop / fuel along the routes.
If you decide to run 93 or 95, just be sure to have around 3/4 tanks before heading off.

    tscottme Thanks this.

Where about in LA area you delivering ? If your coming from Houston, why not just shoot straight out I-10 ? The last truck stop before getting into LA would be in Ontario which is where I-15 and I-10 meet up. After that, it’s about 1 hour or so into LA area, depends what time of day you need to be in .
