I-10 west, at the I-10/I-8 split in Casa Grande, Az. go I-8 west to Az. Hwy 85 North at Gila Bend (this will eliminate Phoenix traffic). At Blythe, Ca. grab U.S. 95 north to Needles, Ca. and grab I-40 westward. At Barstow, Ca. grab Ca.58 west into Bakersfield. (this eliminates L.A. traffic) Have fun. :cya:

Since you said running smooth tank, this is the best way. 95 has a roller coaster section, not bad, and do see tanks on it.

Top off the tanks before 93 or 95 got it thank you. As far as route like I said I've been through La before and remember the traffic and road situation out there so I was thinking to avoid it come in from the back side going to Bakersfield ca

The back way through Tehachapi is the only good way to go. LA is a cluster-F and I always stay away from it. The only hills you'll have to deal with are over Tehachapi pass and not bad at all or very long. There's a Love's and a Pilot in Tehachapi, also several truck stops in Barstow and a PFJ just north of Barstow on 99. It's an easy drive from Texas.

As long as trailer is full. No baffles won't matter.
