Go through Albquerque at the right time and lose 29 seconds. lol It may even be faster to go ft worth to amarillo and west, in fact it would be.

There's a much better selection of food along Interstate 40.

Ok I'll compare the n/i-40 route too. Sounds like it'll be fine either way, I've been comparing terrain, truck stops, traffic, etc

Lots of good Mexican food along the way.
    Filibertos in Albuquerque
    Alibertos in Holbrook Arizona
    Humberto's in Kingman Arizona
    Robertiro's and Alberto's in Barstow.
Dirt cheap and large portions Plus open 24 hours.

You never had a carne asada burrito quite like the ones at those places I mentioned. I'm sure most of the places that you like put beans and rice and cheap filler in the burrito.. beans and rice are taboo inside a burrito and should only be served as a side order and the burrito should be on an 18 inch flour tortilla and should be all meat and less than five bucks and weigh more than a pound.

Lol, I generally agree with that. I had mex at a place in San Diego a few years back, huge plate, cheap price and good. Tx the food has gotten pricier and not as good but it's everywhere and now hard to find something else, even Louisiana is getting like that, it's good but I personally don't want it breakfast lunch dinner for a month straight lol
