$31 MILLION MaxxForce Engine Fraud Judgement REVERSED

During the 2017 trial, numerous current and former Navistar executives offered damning testimony.

One such example was Navistar’s former senior vice president of North American sales, Jim Hebe, who said the company “did not test ####” before selling the engines to consumers.

Hmm, so basically if it’s for commercial use, companies that sell you a truck have no obligation to build a quality product?
Other than what’s spelled out in the warranty which they can revoke at anytime.

That is so wrong... This essentially tells businesses who cares which will ultimately lead to consumers getting screwed..

They don't call them Intertrashionals for nothing. I've honestly never considered Navistar/International a legitimate Class 8 truck manufacturer anyways.

In Texas they have 30 acre lots full of them just sitting there. I guess they're waiting for the Mexicans to come and buy them and take them back to Mexico. Even the Mexicans ain't biting.....
There's a lot next to the Queen City truck stop in Meridian MS that has about 40 real pretty red ones sitting there......nice looking trucks with junk motors.

Now I’ve seen a few Mexican carriers with International tractors, but they usually go for the older models, before the company start putting the mission of junk on it. In particular, cabovers. They won’t touch the new ones, unless it has a Cummins under the hood.

I’d never thought I’d say this but I actually feel sorry for a trucking company for once.
