I'm driving a 2015 Cascadia(please don't laugh) and it has a tv cable jack. Do I simply just get a tv install and go? Do I need the Dish network RV package? Or smart tv? Please guys tell me what your using? Thanks

Smart TV at least to get todays digital TV. Otherwise you can get either a digital receiver for $35 or a bluray player that will do it for the older set. Tho the cost of the bluray player is almost the same as buying a inexpensive 32" flat screen.

As to the coax connector? It is outdated technology.

The coax jack still works. You'll just get regular over the air digital channels if they are available in the area you're at. Most modern digital TVs require you to go into the settings and get it to do a channel scan, it goes through all of the channels and locks in what ever ones it finds. After that just surf away.
Any of the smart features requires an internet connection, but you could hot spot off your smart phone for that.
And of course you could subscribe to a satellite service and get a mobile or regular dish setup.

Do they make those smart TVs that can fit in a truck? Then just use Hulu or Netflix off of a phone or tablet to it? I know my wife and daughter want to get a tv (haven't had one in years) and Hulu with all the local channels is like $50/month so it's cheaper than cable if you have solid cell service for wifi where you drive.
