Should I go back to a previous otr gig earning on average once taxes are done $750 range and often a $950 range check which was cut semi short of the miles I actually drove or try a brand new job. I memorized every delivery and took in town turns like a champ with no fear knowing exactly where my tires were but it wasnt uncommon for trucking terminals to have truckers huddled together talking about pay being short. All in all I think I'll go back but should I take a swing and a miss in trying another company? And keep in mind the trucks are governed lol which I dont like slowing down traffic let alone hill climbs with pissed locals. Not here to bash a company by names but your input would be good and well required in my next decision. And ps the home time is perfect this is mainly a 90% drop and hook run if you like driving this job is perfect000 they can get you home easily within acouple days. Long time reader and truck driver here your input would be awesome thanks and stay safe

Why would you go back to a company that's
Skimming of the top of your pay.
And you and all the other drivers know it. Why.
For 750 bucks a week.
Your kidding right.
You do realize you have a class A license.
That's a free ticket to 1200 a week and up
Bring home pay.
With benefits and insurance and 401k.
Forget that job.
Those jobs will always be there.
Go get a good one.FlaSwampRat Thanks this. -
