Oh great, so now instead of there being no parking in Tacoma, there will now be absolutely zero parking in Tacoma.

Going to take more then a remodel to fix that cluster.
okiedokie and LoSt_AgAiN Thank this. -
The old run down Love’s has been completely torn down. They’ve expanded the property and are building a brand new Love’s from the ground up, including a tire shop, and they’re going to have improved traffic flow in and out, with entrances on Port of Tacoma Road and Pacific Hwy. It actually looks promising. I’m not sure of the timeline, but I’d guess it will be open by fall. I drive by the property nearly every day.
drvrtech77, austinmike, tucker and 2 others Thank this. -
I saw something in love’s site with an opening date of September 19th. I’m hoping they improved the layout of the parking lot. The old place was a NIGHTMARE. I got stuck there two nights in a row and was literally sleeping with one eye open, ready to hear the sound of crunching bodywork, even though I was lucky enough to work my way into the back corner spot. At least 5 trucks got hit the first night alone.
tucker Thanks this. -
Remolding the loves doesn't change anything.
It'll still be a cluster #### 24 hours a day.
They can bulldoze the whole place and start over,
Wouldn't make a difference.
The lot is just to small to do anything with it. -
Anonymousproxy, bzinger and JReding Thank this.

This is old satellite imagery, but you can get an idea of what the new stop will probably look like. The entries and exits are also being improved. (I forgot to add: the smaller box, bottom left, is a tire shop).

I didn't mind that place. The parking was so tight people would just give up and not even try. Somehow it wasn't any worse than a place with more room.
bzinger Thanks this. -
I used to stop there when it was still a Flying J. Always a cluster but after the Flying J in Federal Way closed there weren't a lot of option.
