Yeah it can be a fun road to take a 53 footer over... If your tandems are slid all the way forward your tail swings into the other lane on a few corners.... If they are back very far at all you need both lanes to keep from scraping the side of the trailer on a few corners.... Then if its winter time it gets REALLY fun... Lots of snow and ice.

We used to run over it a lot to get to Ovid ID to load timbers out of that small mill. One winter I parked and hung iron right by the college in Logan and didn’t take them off until I got to the lake.

If that's where I think it is, it's a beautiful area.

I don’t remember. There was a place in Victor MT that got timbers there so we were in there a lot until the log home market went to crap.

I was just there the one time, I was not much on hauling lumber anyway, but it was late in the evening and could get me back for my family reunion.
I remember he blew a stack in a hurry, and thought he could intimidate me because of his size. lol
It was a load of prestressed lumber to make trusses with, supposedly high dollar stuff, some bundles were only 3 feet long. I barely had enough straps to tie that mess down

Intothesunset, Bud A. and Lepton1 Thank this.

I ran that westbound a few years ago. It's nice to say I did it, but like you...

    ...NEVER AGAIN.

Oh come on boys!!!... It's just another day in trucking... Lol

Its nit much of a time saver for most guys though, as you end up going much slower. But #### its some really pretty country through Logan Canyon.

Yeah. The country is very nice. But you need probably one week to align your eyes back to normal after this trip.
One eye on the front and one eye on the mirror where is your trailer. If there is more then one trip you will have exotropia rest of the life. 1539920578127679230.jpg
