i wouldn't think to much of it. Some people just like to think their your boss of moral superiority. I parked next to a caseys fuel island that had trucks lined around the concrete edges. I didn't dare go behind the building with a set at 3am

ZZ top looking Hot shot car hauler stopped behind me and waited. I just went in to grab some coffee and stopped for a smoke. Guy hopped out of his pickup acting like he couldn't go around me when no one was at the pumps he could have went through to park around back or to do whatever. He also wondered about parking in back and i said idk as i was not going to chance going back there and the other truck driver that took off advised me it was a mess back there.

Truth of the matter was he just wanted me to leave so he could have the spot i briefly stopped in.

Jealousy and envy. Probably mad he isn’t working for you guys. He’s know the money you make. Tanker guys are honestly A holes. The ones I encounter think there gods gift to trucking.

Yeah, maybe. I really hate to think that way, because it just feels so... Jerry Springer.

"You're just jealous! We got two incomes from welfare and food stamps, and you wish you were ballin like us!" Yeeesh.

I'm fortunate to be here, but I'm nice to everyone I meet. I'd never throw my position in someone's face.

This may or may not be the case as every case may be different. The LTL driver I spoke with because of his lack of respect for anyone else. If he had respect he would have backed his single trailer in to one of the many spots available instead of taking the last fuel pump that he wasn’t going to use while he took a break. While income makes absolutely no difference in this conversation, but since you brought up money. I net(clear) yearly at least double what I did in my 10 years at Big Brown on less hours worked and don’t ever, ever, ever do nights. I still tell most people to try and get a job at UPS rather than any other job including car hauling because it is hard to beat for most people. I am not most people, whether good or bad. Therefore all of us non LTL or UPS drivers needing a pump to fuel at are not always jealous of you. Come on back driver!

Yea. You can't be a poser with your uniform and plastic hood truck. You gotta man up and stop showering, dress correctly like @McUzi said and get you a real truck like a clapped out 359 with 8" straights and a 18spd so you can grab 11 gears in the parking lot.

Don’t be hating on those of us with an 18 speed. I have more buster browns pass me in a day than I pass. Just because I got it don’t mean I use it, unless I get a wild hair. Lol

Even hourly Buster Browns pass me. Not Chicago hourly, but even I go faster than 52.

Spring ride? They didn’t start buying air ride until I left. I had a 259, something series that was 8 or 10 years old when I had it. Other than a rough ride it ran great! I ran a cab over international on a mileage job to Jackson Ms one time. It wasn’t governed and before I got back to Louky it laid down on me because it wasn’t used to being run hard. It normally ran an hourly job to Ohio by an Old Skool Teamster who ran 52 in Slowhio. After I gave it a break in Bowling Green Ky, she made it back to Louky.
