that was a BIG MISTAKE on your part to even think someone would "let it go".
that stuff was thier property and as such, has a dollar value, it was not yours to keep..
you KNEW they were going to do this, (retrieve the items) yet you did not follow up on anything, like calling them, texting, e-mailings..and just "assumed" they let it go..???
and you had better make those truck payments, otherwise your credit will tank, and it'll be tougher next time to lease or buy another truck.
lawyer up, that also was something you should have done right away..
good luck to you

I am going to ask you (OP) what a lawyer will ask, how did he get access to the truck in the first place?
Was it parked in a public parking lot or was it parked in a storage lot?FlaSwampRat, buddyd157 and Bean Jr. Thank this. -
Deleted. Stories like that disturb me internal peace.
I hope these things dont happen in real.Last edited: Aug 22, 2019

My truck note is due, I don't think I should pay it, what do you guys think??? SUE SUE Maybe I can get a new pete if they repo this one. lol
Sounds like you have made your mind up to give up, what ever he poured in has not hurt anything unless you cranked and run it,
I sure wish Paul Harvey was still around.FlaSwampRat, ChevyCam, x1Heavy and 1 other person Thank this. -
Dave_in_AZ and x1Heavy Thank this.

So, if he admitted he broke into your truck why didn't he get charged with burglary or whatever it's called?
FlaSwampRat Thanks this. -
Op I hope you didn’t start it up. It’s either sand or sugar. Either way they will destroy your seals. If you didn’t crank it send it to a shop to clean it out it’s still going to be a hefty bill as they’re going to have to take down the pan and open the top and spray her down until they’re sure it’s all gone. But if you did crank it you’re looking at a total rebuild on that engine.
FlaSwampRat Thanks this. -
I'll have to google it for the article but I tell you what, we are actually living that prophecy now. That man had a seer's ability to know what is possible when the devil got ahold of America. -
Even if this really happened like reported and a police report has been made, if he had of cranked it up, it would be covered by insurance, new engine if need be.
FlaSwampRat Thanks this. -
This whole thing sounds like a set up to me.
I believe there's some sabotage and insurance
Fraud going on.
That's just my opinion.
Just because the guy came back to the
Truck, doesn't mean he poured stuff in
The engine.
There's zero proof of that.
If I'm the other guys lawyer,I'm going to
Say the op sabotaged his own truck to
Get out from under the payments.
And use his posting on this forum as proof.FlaSwampRat, ChevyCam, Dave_in_AZ and 2 others Thank this.
