As miseian has stated, depending on your goal a properly specd truck will do wonders. If running Midwest mainly like me as I am based out of Indy, I don't need gobs of power. The ratio at 3.25 is pretty low for good mileage. More of a hill pulling setup

I'm curious at 3.25 with super singles at 65 mph what the rpm would be I'm final od 18th gear.

I bought one two months ago,,, fuel mileage is great 8,5 mpg ,,, I have one with automatic 12 speed,,, it is not for the mountain,,, if you have loads around no more than 37000 lbs ,,, you will fly,, today I have load from Riverside CA going to Jeffersonville IN ,,, i coming in to Santa Rosa NM ,, like half mile before exit to TA Lowe’s and Pilot ,,, just heard explosion ,,, I pull on shoulder and I was thinking it is tire ,,,, nothing, everything looks normal and back on to highway ,,, no luck ,,, just lost power ,,,, can’t go over 25mph ,,, so get out and I waiting for INTERNATIONAL to came tomorrow morning,,, no check engine light, no warnings,,, will see ,,,,
