Got a call about doing sand for WFE, but reviews of their on-road operations are mixed to be kind.
Anyone out there ever talk to one of their oilfield drivers?

I'm a current driver for their sand division. I don't feel like typing up a whole review on my phone but will gladly answer any questions that I can. I've been here about a month and I like it so far. I'm not going to say it's perfect but they treat you fair and have kept me busy.speedyk Thanks this. -
Just wanted to post an update, to help anybody considering the company. I've been here for over 2 months now and it has gone downhill real quick. We do not, I repeat, do not have any work. I've had one load in 4 days. I've tried to stick it out but it's clear that it's not getting better, only worse. This is not an angry review, I'm very grateful for the job. I knew what it was going into it but I needed to work quickly and they got me rolling in a few days.
However, if money is not an issue for you, the equipment is absolutely top notch and they do not micro manage so there are positives.
Again, no ill will towards the company, they are trying, kind of. They will tell you they have more work than drivers, they will tell you that you can work in a few different regions and that you have a choice to pull boxes or pneumatics. Not true, they will put you where they need or want you. Just a friendly heads up for everyone, keep the shiny side up y'all.blue1005, D.Tibbitt, MagnumaMoose and 2 others Thank this. -
Anyone else have more info since the post is a little old? Still saying they have plenty of loads and can make 13-1900 a week.

This is just my 2 cents. The road guys are having a hard time of it.
One of the oil field guys had a hard time of it.
I would say that WFE has a business model that helps them more than you.
I’m a road driver and have talked to a few of their lease road drivers. It’s a sinking ship. Their words not mine.
Gotta be better than them in the oil fields. Unless you just want a pretty truck.speedyk Thanks this. -
Feast or famine all the time.
They have no control over any
Loads they get.
There waiting for the phone to ring
Just like you are.
They just need you sitting inside the
Truck when the call does come.
If you want to do frac sand,go to a
Oilfield company.
Not a lease purchase OTR company that's
Not going to get any respect in the patch.
There phone is going to be the
Last one to ring.speedyk Thanks this.
