Question for you guys: do the OTR fridges have a freezer section?

 

Small fridges like that usually do but they are often nearly useless because of their small size.

If you need freezer space dometic has some options for about 500 bucks for portable fridge/freezer units that are worth looking at.

If you're looking to cook on the truck and want to carry lots of fresh or frozen foods they are worth looking at for sure.

 

It's small, the freezer, but it works. I use it for frozen fruits I use in my protein shakes.

 

Freezer was big enough for 2 bags of shrimp to give you an idea. I do the dirty keto so my fridge had like 30 lbs of cheese and 4 cartons of eggs in it and a few other small things roflmao. Pretty much like 4 weeks worth of food if there was a snow in or a zombie apocalypse. I lost a solid 30 lbs in 16 weeks lol.

 

There was one Magnum driver years ago that got the shop to remove the passenger seat and they mounted a small appartment size deep freeze in it's place and just ran it off the APU's inverter.

 

Yes but it’s tiny, I can crank mine to full cold and as long it’s not blazing hot in the truck it will keep my meat and vegetables frozen on the top shelf.

 

Quart bags, freeze contents flat. Holds about three stacked.

Three more thawing just below, you're good on dinners for two, three weeks.

Dirty rice, spagetti, lasagna, carnitas, brisket, etc.

No reason to starve.

Put a 22 pound Texas Clod on the smoker for 27 hours.

About 20 hours in, decided what the heck, it's already going right? Throw a couple of racks of pork ribs on.

They ate all the ribs.

I'll be living on clod for the next month. Oh darn.

As far as the rest of the party, some people might have had too much tequila. I seem to remember a conga line around midnight...
