Yeah worse off he shown his face. He’s going to tick off the wrong trucker one day...only a matter of time. You know some of the drivers you’ve seen on the road are missing a couple of their marbles.

Heres my argument for idling, to a cop/judge/jury, if it's a hot/cold day.

It's not ok to leave a child or animal in a car on a hot/cold day because they can die. Then why is it ok for us drives to suffer in a hot/freezing vehicle? Want to come inside and suffer with me?

As far as some random hippie looking too closely at my truck, I would most definitely get out and lecture him on his nosing around my truck! I do spend a lot of time in Southern Cali and idle all the time in 100 plus degree temps. My Comfort Pro won't even make it bearable inside in those temps.
My truck is a 17' model and does meet the "clean idle" requirements so I don't give it a second thought.
I always notice all the pre emissions trucks in Cali driving around and wonder WTF! These trucks usually have Cali plates on them, so again, WTF!
I've never seen their CARB staff out and about citing these trucks and think there just aren't that many to do the job. Looks like it's a free for all on non compliant trucks in Cali to me.

Best to stay out of that communist country. Boycotting that state and see how long they last.

I like to bring an old oil barrel and toss in some ole blown out tires in there and set them ablaze in a no idle zone. You know let the smoke get real black and thick.

Ive idled all the time in Cali until 2001 when I quit running.

If the agent has to stick nose into the pipes and breathe the golden marbles the romans must pass on in the previous life. IF the agent passed out then the exhaust is bad and they really shouldnt be doing that. No wonder they are hard to come by.

The problem is, that is where all my customer's freight is!

Until they move all the wharehouses to Blythe, I gotta go in.
