Im not sure what it was nor if it was flammable or explosive. It was more of a slow drip. Honestly the police and fire department made it seem worse than what it really was. You know how it is with that hazmat ####. Maybe someone else will be able to chime in and let us know.

Yeah the further away the truckstop is from an interstate the better chance you have at finding a parking spot past 8pm. I know those old us highways in Kansas you’ll always find a spot at night if you’re atleast 60 miles away from I-70, i135 or i35.

Yup, see how smart i am? I reject dangerous trucks and dont waste my time or tires scraping circles around full lots with a heavy spread axle for no reason. 1am east coast forget it. Find a hidey hole and get some good sleep that dont smell like piss or sound like reefer.

The guy wasnt my neighbor though. He was a stranger 4 hours away with an empty seat, leasing on to an MC that is near to me and becoming a friend. They didnt know him either and i was looking for a truck to self dispatch, which is hard to come by.

Really? They put profit in front of public safety?

    Shocked and appalled.

"Just run it" was a common experience in the 1980s after dereg when carriers and brokers exploded......

There was so much coercion,it was almost daily with everyone.

The dispatchers in those days were trained poorly by coercing drivers to run illegal just to make on time deliveries,AT ALL COSTS.

That piss pavement is more of a health risk. The piss the funk and the madness. I remember when I went to a trucks to and the humidity made it feel like a piss sauna.
