some shippers don't load translucent roof trailers. I had before one Trailmobile , twice they rejected my trailer. they said its getting hotter inside compared to aluminum roof trailer.

I'd like to see the thermometer readings difference. Nothing like being in a tin can

Down here in AZ it's not a tin can, more like a microwave oven!

Translucent roofs is all USX back when i worked there. They were fine, even the 10 year old trailers with multiple patches did not leak.

An aluminum roof is no better. Your talking paper thin sheet metal vs paper thin fiberglass.

Op, i don’t know about cost but they can fix it pretty easy.

Its just a fiberglass material... I could fix that myself in 1 day with the right materials... Couple sheets of fiberglass to match existing roof, some fiberglass bats, gallon of resin, and a bag of fiberglass chop, maybe a couple dozen sheet metal screws. Not that hard to repair if you have a way to get on top of the trailer without just standing on the roof itself.

What does me having this van have to do with India? And I’ve got 5 trailers ,(1)2017 reefer and (2)2016 dry vans and (2)2006 and my g it’s been working fine for me, I’ve been loading food grade alll day long, I agree with you those aren’t the best, trailers and I don’t know if it’s possible to replace with aluminum roof but don’t come at me sideways, if it was you and me in person my man you would have gotten your self handled, I come here for help, and learned a lot on this forums, and truly appreciate everyone, once in a while cats like you be poppin up.

Is India an insult? I didn’t take it as he was insulting you. More like F’ing with you, ribbing you, etc. Sortof like saying hey were not in the hills of W Virginia anymore yah darn hick, get some better equipment!

Anyway, you sound like a plenty smart guy so I’m sure you’ll figure it out just fine.

The way it was written, yes it was meant as an insult. It was a real ####### comment that should have never been posted, but we have a our fair share of these types of posts
